1 Poem Written at Genevieve’s Birthday Party in New York City

PARTY POEM

And we were at the
Fiesta disco sleeping
With
Clowns in the football stadium
Nothing could
Break me except
...
And your gaze
And your awesome cookies
It was unreasonable
But the larks in the bushes hiding
The secret handshakes
Someone
Ran away to practice
Flute
That’s what I play
