SEASON 0 LOVE LETTER
Dear reader,
Welcome to Season 0 of Knife Room Poetry. This letter is dedicated to the contributors of Season 0 for 1.) getting the wheels on this thing then 2.) pushing it encouragingly into the void.
A great pleasure of mine has been collaborating and conversing with poet friends, new and old, over the last few years. We acknowledge that writing can be a lonely project, but we conclude it doesn’t have to be. This space, I hope, will be a reminder of that.
Season 0 features some of my dearest, brightest friends who have introduced me to the joys of poetic collaboration. Word-by-word, line-by-line, and by simply writing alongside each other, you have shown me what fun poetry can be when we make it together. To each of you I say thank you x ︎ !!
And to the writers we consider our constant, though disembodied collaborators – writers whom we’ve never met but whose work influences us deeply – profound thanks I send their way.
